Grim Reaper frontman Steve Grimmett continues to recover in a hospital in Ecuador from a severe infection that ultimately cost him having part of his right leg amputated.

“Today Steve leaves the hospital to go to a hotel, where i will be his carer/nurse until we can get back to the UK and Steve in to a UK hospital. Steve isn’t feeling quite as upbeat as he had been, due to pain, but he is still remaining positive.

“This is the last show SGGR did in Guayaquil before steve had most of his right leg amputated. You can see steve is in pain but carried on regardless”
