W.A.S.P. “Crazy” Video Coming Soon

January 24, 2010

Coming soon is the video for “Crazy”, the second promo video from W.A.S.P.’s 2009’s hit album ‘Babylon’. The single reached #15 in the UK Rock Charts and also highly throughout the rest of Europe. W.A.S.P. is currently filming for completion before the start of the US Tour, so stay tuned!

In a recent interview with Sleaze Roxx’s Ruben Mosqueda, W.A.S.P. frontman Blackie Lawless says that the key to the band’s longevity has been “a lot of vitamins and steroids”. The entire interview can be read at https://sleazeroxx.com/interviews/blackie-lawless-interview/.

When asked about baseball’s Mark McGwire coming clean about his steroid abuse Blackie stated, “I understand his argument by saying that they wouldn’t give immunity five years ago when he was on Capitol Hill. There was probably a lot of truth to that but when you sit there and you say that you don’t believe that steroids didn’t affect your performance in any way I am here to tell you that it does. I know this personally, you’d be surprised what all performers do to get up on stage.”

Blackie also revealed that the band plans to release the Crimson Idol movie in the near future – “We did The Crimson Idol Tour two years ago with the movie playing in the background and to answer your question yes it will. It would seem fitting that it would be in a couple years that we do that for the 20th anniversary of the record. I’m not saying it will happen then but we will be releasing it in the future. It’s not finished, there’s a couple of things that need to be completed and then we’d need to edit it. There’s also quite a bit of footage that people haven’t even seen.”
