Warner Chappell Music advises Facebook account from which Van Halen rumours came was hacked
The speculation on what is going on in the Van Halen camp continues to live on.
Sleaze Roxx has received confirmation from Warner Chappell Music France that the Facebook account from “Thomas Bmyr” was hacked last year and that the information on what is going on in the Van Halen camp is “fake news.”
Yesterday, Sleaze Roxx posted an article titled New rumour — Van Halen to do tour of six American stadiums with appearances from Michael Anthony (which has since been removed) based on contents posted on Bmyr‘s Facebook account earlier in the day.
Warner Chappell Music France has advised neither it or Bmyr ever wrote any negative remarks about Van Halen.
The mystery surrounding what is going in the Van Halen camp continues. Van Halen frontman David Lee Roth suggested in an interview with Vulture back in December 2018 that Van Halen would be playing Yankee Stadium this summer, and ever since then, there has been all sorts of speculation on what the band will be doing this summer including whether original bassist Michael Anthony will be rejoining the group.
