Warrant guitarist Joey Allen announces that drummer Steven Sweet is cancer free

Great news for Warrant drummer Steven Sweet as his bandmate / guitarist Joey Allen recently shared the good news that the drummer is cancer free after his fight with moderately aggressive prostate cancer. Back in mid-November 2018, a Go Fund Me campaign was started to assist Sweet in his fight against his recent diagnosis of prostate cancer.

At Warrant‘s concert at the Medina Ballroom in Medina, Minnesota, USA on February 22, 2019, Allen advised the crowd that Sweet was cancer free.

Sleaze Roxx‘s concert review states:

“Drummer Steven Sweet was absent as he is still recovering from his illness. [Joey] Allen did make an announcement that Sweet is now cancer free and hopes to join the band on the road real soon. Congrats to Sweet for beating cancer’s ass! Chris Beall has been filling in for Sweet on the drums, and they even mentioned that this was his third time playing with Warrant at the Medina.”
