Warrant’s Joey Allen Says The Band’s Upcoming Album ‘Sounds Killer’

Warrant is currently in the studio working on the follow-up to 2006’s ‘Born Again’, the band’s first with new lead singer Robert Mason (formerly of Lynch Mob and Cry Of Love).

Lead guitarist Joey Allen posted the following update regarding the upcoming CD, “14 songs with drums and bass done! 7 songs have rhythm guitar done…we are smokin’ along!!! It sounds killer and Keith Olsen is GREAT to work with. This may be the best Warrant CD I have ever worked on, everyone is firing on all cylinders…wait until you here Mason tear it up…KILLER.”

Warrant currently consists of Robert Mason (vocals), Joey Allen (lead guitar), Erik Turner (rhythm guitar), Jerry Dixon (bass) and Steven Sweet (drums). During a concert in Syracuse, NY on June 17th, 2010, Warrant performed a brand new song entitled “Sex Ain’t Love” – video of the performance can be viewed below.
