Wett Cherry unveil new single “Woman In Chains”
New York rockers Wett Cherry featuring guitarist Dennis DiNunzio have unveiled a new single titled “Woman In Chains” from their upcoming album The High And Divine. You can listen to the single “Woman In Chains” via Dragon City Demo‘s website.
Dragon City Demo‘s press release indicates (with slight edits):
“Wett Cherry are a straight up rock band from Coney Island, New York, USA. Their first gig was played at a local festival in New York City. After the release of their self-financed single, they signed to an independent label.
Their debut record Virgins was released soon after which was then followed by more shows and an ever increasing fan base notably in Japan. Recorded in analog on tape for downloads and silver pressed CDs for late fall 2021, The High And Divine already is receiving airplay in the 10 top U.S. cities and the UK. Producers Jason Futterman and Alex Santiago help bring out the band’s retro ’80s vibe, paying homage to Mötley Crüe, etc with its sing-along lyrics and references to the counterculture generation. It makes sense that all of the musicians — including former Steel Mountain Crossing guitarist shredder Dennis DiNunzio, drummer Kevin Grisso, pansexual singer Andy/Andrea Jaggs, and bassist Bobby Hahm — are all from the tri-state area. While three of the members are not new to the rock scene, Dennis DiNunzio aka Dennis D previously played with Adam Pascal, Mina Caputo, Mayhem and Notorious B.I.G.
Few albums (or groups) have been met with such a warm reception. After years of touring bars and small clubs in the U.S., Wett Cherry are ripe, ready, willing and able. These entertainers have bled buckets of blood and sold their souls to the devil a long time ago…. and they are way over due. Wett Cherry are long time veterans of L’Amour, The Limelight, Cbgbs, The Kat Klub, Raw Sundance and will get up and roll faithfully after many sands through the hourglass. They are a New York City go to for devout underground metal heads worldwide.
From the forthcoming album The High And Divine.”
