White Trash U.K To Release New Double Single In November
September 22, 2010
White Trash U.K is set to release a new double single ‘Changeling’ and ‘Burn It Up (Religions a Whore)’ on November 5th. The release will be the band’s first new offering in 14 years.
Boasting a sound that was back in 1996 described as a cross between Faith No More, The Offspring, Queen and Motley Crue, this lot feature Lee Pistolero on vocals (Gypsy Pistoleros), Mark Westwood on guitar (Shadowlands and the Martin Orford Band) and John Jowitt on bass (IQ , ARK and Frost among others)
In 1996, this mob recorded an album for Noise International – it was never released. However on February 19, 2010 a 12-track offering (some of which were produced by Jon Mitchell, who’s worked with It Bites, Enter Shikari and Funeral For A Friend) and some by Jon McGowan (Metallica) was released on Bad Reputation Records. Lemmy once said to this lot as they supported Motorhead on the Spanish Tour 96: “You know I recall at least five different bands called White Trash… That said, you lot do make an acceptable racket!”
The song ‘Changeling’ was considered an underground classic back then!
