Willie Basse Posts New Single Featuring George Lynch

Black Sheep frontman Willie Basse has just uploaded his new single “Break Away”, featuring Dokken’s George Lynch on lead guitar, to www.myspace.com/williebasse.

The new track also includes King James Kottak (of the Scorpions) on drums, Mitch Perry on guitars, Mike Finnigan on Hammond organ and Willie Basse himself on bass and vocals.

Basse is best known for his role as bassist/frontman for the legendary L.A. based metalheadsBLACK SHEEP (the metal version, not the rap version who bought the name from him in the ’90s).BLACK SHEEP and Willie Basse were mainstays on the Los Angeles sunset strip during the ’80s metal explosion. The group has boasted members that include Slash, Paul Gilbert, James Kottak, Randy Castillo and Mitch Perry.
