Willie Basse Releases A New Single To Help End Hunger

Willie Basse Releases A New Single To Help End HungerOn January 3rd Black Sheep founder and current Snew bassist Willie Basse will release “Stop (In The Name of Love)” to help end hunger. Beig released through all digital outlets worldwide, proceeds from the single will be being donated to feedamerica-now.org.

This version of the classic hit song features guitar legend Earl Slick and veteran keyboardist Mike Finnigan. Slick, who toured with The New York Dolls last year is known for his work with John Lennon, David Bowie, Phantom Rocker & Slick and Little Caesar. Finnigan, who works with CSN and Joe Cocker, is currently on tour with Bonnie Raitt. Mike is also known for his work on the classic Jimi Hendrix song “Rainy Day Dream Away” on the Electric Ladyland album.

The single was recorded and mixed by multi-platinum, Grammy recipient, Dennis MacKay who has worked with Judas Priest, David Bowie, Phil Collins, Jeff Beck, Jack Bruce, Return to Forever, Vixen, Stanley Clarke and George Duke.
